Our Business

Alphaville Design is a manufacturer, wholesaler and direct importer, specializing in delivering furniture and design solutions from source to target. 

Established in 2003, we started with the simple idea of making high quality modern furnishings made in China to Italian specifications.  Using premium Italian hides from the finest Italian tanneries and the best and most consistent #304 stainless steel for furniture making from Korea, we engaged a small high-end custom upholstery factory in China.  The tailoring, the hand, the love that goes into every product continues to this day.

Although a small business with less than 100 employees in the US, we provide jobs for 1000s of workers and their families in over 20 factories in China.  We are able to service both small and large retailers, due to our flexible size and ability to leverage massive scales of economies.  We are the network orchestrator (trading partner) of choice for a number of large retailers.

From single-shipments (drop-ship) for online retailers to 100's of truckloads for large retailers, we have done it.  A major accomplishment has been to drop-ship over 20,000 chairs to 1000's of homes all across the country for a major multi-billion dollar global corporation (online division) in very compressed time frames.  It involved months of planning and coordination to make it a successful and profitable venture for all parties.   Big or small, we look forward to these challenges. 

Alphaville Design offers large project design work and OEM production for major retailers and designers working in the hospitality industry.  Our products are often installed in banks, hospitals, restaurants and fine hotels all around the world.

As an equal-opportunity employer, our team of men and women come from all walks of life, giving us a rich and diverse working environment.  Our founder has been an international building materials and furniture executive for nearly 20 years.  All of us at Alphaville Design have a passion for design and a desire to serve.

In China, we maintain our own independent 3rd party team of inspectors, designers and managers to ensure compliance to Alphaville Design's high specs and standards.   Our factories employ several thousand people to make gorgeous product just for you.

Also, we work with independent testing laboratories, such as SGS, and submit random samples on a regular basis.  Sourcing from China is often dangerous and risky.  Retailers depend on us to navigate this minefield. 

An independent sales rep force, leaders in their territories, are contracted to present our products and our story to retailers.

We partner with industry leaders, such as Fedex, UPS, Con-way Express, Home Direct, and many others to make the furniture buying experience as rewarding and comfortable as possible.
